Engineering Day 2024
AVK Saudi Joins Forces at Engineering Day 2024 27-01-2025
Engineering Day 2024 in Riyadh was a significant event that brought together over 300 engineers and five leading global companies to address crucial challenges facing the industry today. The atmosphere was electric as professionals from various fields connected, collaborated, and shared valuable insights on the latest technological advancements.
AVK Saudi proudly participated in this event, alongside Grundfos, Danfoss, Daikin, and K-FLEX. Together, we explored innovative solutions focused on making buildings more energy-efficient—an increasingly vital topic as Riyadh's population is expected to soar from 8 to 12 million in the coming years.
Cities are responsible for consuming about 90% of the world’s energy, and buildings play a significant role in that consumption. The engineering community recognizes the importance of optimizing energy use within these structures. By working collaboratively, we can reduce CO2 emissions and create a more sustainable future.
The event was a great success, offering meaningful networking opportunities and discussions that not only focused on immediate market challenges but also envisioned a cleaner, greener tomorrow. It was inspiring to see so many passionate individuals come together, all dedicated to enhancing technology and contributing to the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
It was a great pleasure to see that the event was attended by many females Engineering students, from the Princess Noura University. Moving forward they will play an important role in securing a talented and balanced workforce here in the Kingdom.
One of the focus areas in the presentation from AVK, was the importance of quality and training the players in the water industry on how to select quality suppliers and materials with long lifetime. Thereby, reducing the cost of ownership, and enabling the Government to allocate resources to more projects.
AVK Saudi looks forward to continuing this important work with all our partners. Together, we are beginning a journey towards more energy-efficient buildings and a brighter future for our cities. The future is bright, and it begins with collaboration and innovation!
