AVK Acquires ACMO

 The two current owners of ACMO, Paolo Sebastiani and Sofia Lavagnolo, will remain as managers and shareholders. ACMO’s head office is located in Roncade just outside of Venice with more offices in Milan, Empoli (Tuscany) and Rome. The company was founded in 1968, has 48 employees and expects a turnover of approximately €15 million this year. ACMO has a strong position in the irrigation market in Italy by producing smart hydrants, hydropasses, integrating control of the water flow, metering, prepayment systems and communications for remote controls. ACMO has developed other Smart solutions including SCADA via the subsidiary company, AC.MO Technologies Integrate S.r.l. (ATI). The objective of this acquisition is for ACMO to serve as the competence centre for the AVK Group in smart water solutions. The product range of ACMO includes a full range of needle valves, control valves, check valves and air valves. The needle valves will extend the products offered at the AVK Group along with further competence in pressure management
