Royal Visit to Saudi Arabia

The opening of the Denmark - Saudi Arabia Business Forum was attended by the Danish Ambassador, Ole Frijs-Madsen, Minister of Commerce, Troels Lund Poulsen and the President of Chamber of Commerce in Riyadh, Abdul Rahman Al Zamil. From AVK, the participants were Mr. Niels Kjaer, owner of AVK international and the top management of AVK SVMC.

The business delegation had participants from 40 of the largest Danish companies. These companies were from different industries such as food products, education, design, healthcare, and energy.

The Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark along with Saudi Arabian VIPs visited the AVK stand where they were presented with the company’s activities in Saudi Arabia. As a part of the trade delegation, a special event was held by AVK together with GRUNDFOS, via college and the Danish Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

This initiative, known as Water Alliances Exchange (WAX), aims to transfer know-how and technology from Denmark to Saudi Arabia in the areas of Non-Revenue Water, Energy Reduction, and Smart Solutions.

AVK SVMC and GRUNDFOS also presented to the Danish Royals and participants their Saudi graduate program, which is an employment program for Saudi Fresh graduates with an Engineering Degree.
