Metal seat gate valves for drinking water and neutral liquids to max. 70°C
AVK series 54 gate valves are designed with built-in safety and quality in every detail. The metal valve seat is resistant to high temperatures in the medium and will not deform during long periods of compression. This ensures stable and reliable operation over the long life span of the valve.

Features
- Bronze wedge nut with lubricating abilities providing optimum compatibility with stem
- The face ring which firmly secured to the wedge is machined to a fine surface finish to ensure optimum contact seal with body seat ring
- Wedge with guides, which ensure uniform closure
- A large through bore housing for the stem in the wedge prevents stagnant water or impurities
- Conventional stuffing box with ample depth to ensure long life to the PTFE packing
- Round EPDM O-cord fixed in a recess
- Countersunk and sealed stainless steel bonnet bolts encircled by the O-cord
- Full bore
- F30 ISO top flange
- Integrated lifting eyes for easy handling
- Prepared for by-pass, optionally fitted with by-pass
- Internal and external blue two pack epoxy coating
- For horizontal or vertical installation
